well it’s about that time where i post the obligatory “damn, i’m going to
miss blah, blah, and blah”.

and truth is that i will. i guess it was just nice to almost think that i had nothing to worry about. and it was a nice 4 month long break. but i gotta get back on my grind. this sucks because i’m supposed to wake up early for my 6 hour long drive.. but i just can’t sleep. those feelings of anxiety are just coming back and it’s a terrible feeling.

i just solely hope i come out okay.

all the soul-searchy, pre-slumber hours don’t help, though.

time to be a grown up for four months again.

I mean, shouldn’t we? Clearly, at this point in our lives, we have come to realize that we do not know everything and that there are concepts and studies that explain things we’ve never even thought of. Being educated is a humbling experience - you continuously learn and realize you don’t know anything. So, when someone has an outside opinion about you, maybe we should take it into consideration. I would never let this opinion completely hinder me from doing what I ultimately believe in, but perhaps they do have a point. Maybe their input is a result of something you don’t know, or are too blind to see. Don’t completely blow off everyone and say “I don’t give a fuck”, I suggest we all stop and listen for a moment. In the end, it’s always your decision, and someone’s envy should not make you second guess yourself…but save yourself some hardship down the road. Listen, learn, then decide. Have pride but have some humility too. You can’t always be right, even if you think you know yourself better than anyone, I’m sure you don’t know everything.

“i don’t give a fuck” or “i don’t care” is not a response i’d take seriously. it’s so immature. like it says. have some damn humility. and actually think about what people have to say. they think that way for a reason. and if you’re too stubborn to understand or try to understand then you need some growing up.

even worse are those who make up excuses to explain people’s thinking. rather than just accepting that that’s how they think. ugh.
